Menomonie, WI 715-231-BERRY(2377) Now that it is fall , it is time to come out to
our pumpkin patch.
We have 3 acres In the early June we plant the pumpkins and gourds. It doesn't take long for the little seeds to start forming plants. Before you know it we have a jungle of vines. As the vines mature they form flowers that once pollinated turn into pumpkins. To help the pollination we rent bees from a local honey producer. You can look at the pumpkin patch and think there are not going to be any pumpkins, because they hide under the giant leaves. Once the vines die in the fall, you have a beautiful field of orange treasures. If you can't make it out to the farm to find your treasure stop by our stand at The Cenex station by Wal-mart in Menomonie. Come and join us in the pumpkin patch!
